3 Hour Beginner Level Pottery Class

Saturday May 10th 2025, 1-4 at Hyatt’s on Elmwood in Buffalo.

In this class, you’ll learn the art of hand-building as you create your own ceramic mug and bowl. I’ll guide you through the process of building, creating texture and decorating your set. After class, I will fire and glaze the pottery so they will be food, dishwasher, and microwave safe.

Whether you're a beginner or an experienced ceramic artist, this workshop is designed to be a fun way to get creative and help you create a set of mugs that you can use every morning!

All materials are included (clay, tools, underglaze, etc), but bring a sketchbook if you want to sketch some designs first!

Please wear clothes you don’t mind getting a little dirty or bring an apron/smock!

You can also bring snacks!

*Expect 4-6 weeks for finished product.

*This class is great for individuals, couples, and friend groups that want to spend an afternoon working with clay!
