Hi! I’m Torie and I am the owner and artist behind Queen of Cups Ceramics. My passion for ceramics started when I was in high school. From the first time that I learned how to throw on the wheel I was hooked. I would spend all of my free time practicing, learning new techniques, and seeing all of the ways that clay can be manipulated.
After high school I went to Buffalo State College and dual majored in Ceramics and Biology. During this time I focused more on sculpture and my thesis of how we as humans can help save our planet. My work consisted of 5 ft sculptures about the ocean and our coral reefs.
Since graduating, I have found a store front that also serves as my own studio. I have gone back to making wheel thrown and smaller sculptural work. I have been enjoying incorporating hand paintings on each piece, so no two will be the exact same.
Since opening Queen of Cups, I have also been given the opportunity to teach classes and workshops at different places around Buffalo. I currently teach classes at Hyatt’s All Things Creative and at Terra Clay Studio doing private parties and date nights. You can also find me at Life is Succulent on Eggert Rd for pop up classes.

And of course THANK YOU for your support💕
